Indonesia sovereign wealth fund INA targets data centres, AI in healthcare, renewables
The Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) is focusing on digital infrastructure, healthcare, and renewable energy as key sectors to attract foreign partners and support national economic development, according to its Chief Investment Officer in an interview with Reuters.
INA’s strategy centers on building strategic partnerships with global fund managers to expand its impact across high-growth sectors. Current initiatives include DayOne, a hyperscale data center platform in Batam; Swire Pacific’s hospital investment platform; and an investment in PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk to advance Indonesia’s energy transition.
Through these collaborations, INA aims to build scalable and resilient investment platforms that generate long-term value, enhance national capabilities, and promote inclusive and sustainable growth.
