On 19 September 2022, the ChiNext Board ETF Option (underlying security: ChiNext Board ETF, Code: 159915) and the CSI 500 ETF Option (underlying security: CSI 500 ETF, Code: 159922) were listed for trading on the SZSE. SZSE Chairman Chen Huaping attended the launch ceremony. Director Zhang Wangjun of the Department of Market Supervision I of CSRC and Standing Committee member Zeng Pai of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee gave speeches via video link, and SZSE President & CEO Sha Yan addressed the ceremony on the spot. Officials and guests from the CSRC system, the Shenzhen Local Financial Regulatory Bureau and relevant market institutions participated in the ceremony. Together, they witnessed another important moment of the SZSE derivatives market.

On 27 April 2020, the Central Committee for Deepening Overall Reform considered and approved the Overall Implementation Plan for the ChiNext Board Reform and the Pilot Project of the Registration-based IPO System.

SZSE recently held a talk with heads of investment banking, quality control and internal audit departments of, and sponsor representatives from eight sponsoring institutions that failed to perform their duties properly on stock issuance and listing on the ChiNext Board. The talk aimed to further urge sponsors to fulfill their responsibilities diligently as “gatekeepers” in review.

On July 25, SZSE’s wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. (SSIC) officially launched CNI ESG Ratings Methodology and released ESG indices and ESG leading indices of SZSE’s core indices (Shenzhen Component Index, ChiNext Index, Shenzhen 100) that were compiled based on the methodology. It is a pragmatic measure of SZSE to fully apply the new development philosophy, give full play to the platform functions of the capital market, continue to refine the index system with SZSE’s characteristics, actively meet diversified ESG investment needs, and better serve green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
