Data × AI Finance and Culture Forum Held in Qianhai
The “Data × AI Empowering Finance and Culture Forum” was recently held in Qianhai, Guangdong, under the theme “Data Empowerment · Cross-Boundary Integration.” The event was organized by the Guangdong Data Elements Industry Association, with support from the Qianhai Authority and the Bao’an District Government Data Office. The forum coincided with the 15th National Games in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and gathered representatives from government, industry, academia, and research, as well as professionals in finance and culture.
Data × Culture Session
ONE
The first half of the forum focused on “Data × Culture.” Experts in the data field discussed how artificial intelligence can upgrade cultural and tourism experiences, and how data supports public cultural services. Case studies showed cultural institutions digitally activating cultural resources and building cultural and creative value chains.
During the session, the Digital Culture Collaborative Innovation Consortium was officially launched. The consortium, involving multiple provincial and municipal industry associations and chambers of commerce, will integrate cross-regional resources and explore the value of cultural data.
Data × Finance Session
TWO
The second half of the forum focused on “Data × Finance.” Experts presented topics including data assetization solutions, financial tools supporting data transactions, and the use of data in financial risk management and marketing. Two agreements were signed on-site:

Guangdong Data Elements Industry Association and universities reached a data talent cooperation agreement.

Seven enterprises signed data industry cooperation intentions.
Qianhai Data Industry Overview

Qianhai, as a core hub for cross-border data flow in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, has developed a well-established and distinctive industrial foundation. The area hosts over 4,000 data enterprises, including 318 Hong Kong-invested firms, covering the full data value chain from collection, storage, circulation, to application.
Future Plans

Qianhai will continue to strengthen Hong Kong cooperation, promote cross-border integration of data across industries, and accelerate the aggregation of core enterprises in the data sector. The goal is to further develop Qianhai as a key center for cross-border data and digital economy development.
