CSI announces the upcoming launch of CSI AAA Universal Bond Index Series (8 indexes) on Dec 2, 2022, and they will be investable benchmarks for investors.

To improve the constituent selection method, today CSI has decided to amend the index methodology of CSI Dividend Growth Strategy Index.

Recently, the SSE ETF market has seen continuous net inflows of funds and active trading, which has effectively supported the stability of the market. According to statistics, during the eight trading days from October 10 to 19, ETFs received a net inflow of 29.1 billion yuan, and non-commodity ETFs received a net inflow of 11.8 billion yuan. Among them, the ten ETFs with highest net inflows are all from the SSE, as China AMC Hang Seng TECH ETF ranks first with a net inflow of 2.89 billion yuan, followed by the China AMC SSE 50 ETF with a net inflow of 2.65 billion yuan, the Southern Asset Management CSI 500 ETF with a net inflow of 1.85 billion yuan, and CSI 300 ETF and STAR 50 ETF. Broad-based ETFs are still the mainstream option for basis allocation.

The release arrangements for the "CSI China Reform Central State-Owned Enterprises Technology Leading Index", "CSI China Reform Central State-Owned Enterprises Modern Energy Index" and "CSI China Reform Central State-Owned Enterprises Shareholder Return Index" were officially announced.

On 19 September 2022, the ChiNext Board ETF Option (underlying security: ChiNext Board ETF, Code: 159915) and the CSI 500 ETF Option (underlying security: CSI 500 ETF, Code: 159922) were listed for trading on the SZSE. SZSE Chairman Chen Huaping attended the launch ceremony. Director Zhang Wangjun of the Department of Market Supervision I of CSRC and Standing Committee member Zeng Pai of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee gave speeches via video link, and SZSE President & CEO Sha Yan addressed the ceremony on the spot. On September 19, 2022, the listing ceremony of CSI 500 ETF options was successfully held on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). At the listing ceremony, Pi Liuyi, Deputy Director and First-level Inspector of the Market Supervision Department I of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), attended the meeting by video link. Liu Ti, SSE Executive Vice President, and Yang Xiaosong, General Manager of China Southern Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Southern Asset Management), jointly struck the opening gong for the market of CSI 500 ETF options. Dai Wengui, Deputy Chief Economist of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (CSDC), and Yu Wenhong, Deputy General Manager of Southern Asset Management, unveiled the option contracts.
