China's Social Security Fund Income from Investments Amount of 378.660 Billion Yuan in 2020
China's National Council for Social Security Fund announced that the income from investments amount of China's social security fund in 2020 is 378.660 billion yuan, with a income from investments rate of 15.84%, up nearly 30% from 2019, much higher than the annual average income from investments rate of 8.51% since the social security fund's inception. Among them, entrusted investment assets accounted for 65.28% of the total assets of the SSF, and the value-added of investment operations exceeded the net financial allocation. This year, the social security fund increased its holdings as well as new stocks mainly involving energy, materials, semiconductors and other emerging industries.
